Factoring Costs
In the case of collection management,
a commission is charged, this being a percentage on
the face value of the invoices that the factor is
responsible for collecting.
The commission will be determined on the spread of
the amounts, the number of account debtors assigned
and experience.
In the case of risk appraisal, the consideration is
usually a fixed fee for each evaluation requested.
Financing services are remunerated by means of a rate
of interest on the sums advanced by the factor, on
the basis of the time elapsed from the moment of delivery
until the time of collection, and will depend on market
rates at the time.
If assignment to obtain funding is performed on the
basis of invoices or other credit securities that
require notification to the account debtor, the notary
public’s fees must be added to these costs.
